Born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1951, he has lived in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic since 1975. His work travels through a wide diversity of languages, in which painting, drawing, sculpture, installation, among others, prevail. His artistic creation process is influenced by his sensitive contact with philosophy, specifically the theories that address the origin of the universe and the relationship of the mind with everything; and music, especially classical productions.
With around 40 individual exhibitions and more than 70 collective projects, stand out within his production series such as Origins and Primary Forms (2013), at the Museum of Modern Art in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; The silent word (2006), exhibited at the National Museum of Visual Arts in Uruguay, and at the Museum of Modern Art (2005), Dominican Republic. Exhibitions such as Curador Curado (2001), Forma y Vacío (2014), among many others, also stand out.
